We Will Always Love You Whitney (RIP)!
The news quickly swept through the world in a matter of minutes.
Whitney Elizabeth Houston (August 9, 1963 – February 11, 2012) passed away at age 48 in her in her Los Angeles hotel room.
Paramedics tried to resuscitate here but where unsuccessful. She was pronounced dead around 3:55 Saturday, Feb 11, 2012. Whitney’s publicist (Kristen Foster) announced the news publicly Feb 11, 2012 in the early hours Saturday morning.
Mark Rosen- Public Information Officer for Beverly Hill Police Department spoke to the news media; “They found her unresponsive. They attempted life saving resuscitation measures. Unfortunately they were not successful. At approximately 3:55 PM Whitney Houston was pronounced dead at the Beverly Hilton Hotel.”
The reporter asks Rosen “any indication at this stage of the cause of death?” Rosen responds “No, not at this time. We have detectives upstairs and crime scene investigators; they are conducting investigations right now as they try to determine the cause of death”
There are some reports coming out that claim she was partying heavily over the last 24 hours before her death.
Whitney was a guest at Kelly Price & Friends Unplugged: For the Love of R&B Grammy Party the night before (Friday, Feb 10, 12).
